Colonial Overhead door no longer services our area. I contacted Marantac direct. They found your name and number. So I called. When the tech arrived, it became obvious very quickly you didn’t service Marantac efficiently. To the point, instead of repairing or replacing the key fob for $53, he choose to offer me a new garage door opener system for $920 each. I had 5 doors involved. Do the math - $4,500 or the $110 I spent at Marantac. Trust me I will never be calling again. The tech was very polite but he had no intention of reprogramming my remotes. No batteries. He didn’t even have the little 3 prong adapter to copy one remote from another. His goal was to sell me $1,000 garage door openers. But thank you for responding so quickly. I included that when I was telling Marantac of my experience.

The remote control for my Genie Intel locker garage door opener died. Precision Garage Door's service technician quote a ballpark price of $900 to replace the opener motor (which is in perfect working condition) !! The unit motor needed replacement to match code with the new remote.

Quality of work by techies is excellent. Cost of repair is complete rip-off. Two springs, some cable, and 30 minutes labor: over $700! Reasonable cost would be half that amount. I will never hire your company again. Again techies were great, but cost is unconscionable. Zero stars.

I was very disappointed with the estimates I received. They seem kinda high, so I shopped around, found a competitor that will do only the work I specified for half of my lowest estimate from precision. The person that showed up seemed to try to upsell me when all I needed was two garage door springs and safety cables installed that was it.

Everything was good until I saw the parts prices, in some cases 10 times retail (rip off).

Fast service, way overpriced. A $60 spring cost us $250. Will not be using them again.
