When the day started out with the new garage door not opening with 2 cars in that was beginning of frustration. The customer rep said she would get a service specialist but she would have to call the specialist because the door was still warranty. Didn't understand that and I admit was a little hot under the collar. But the specialist called and set up the specialist repair guy. He got here about 5PM and explained the problem . I can't understand for being just a year old why the rails had bends in both rails,wheels cam off the track and jammmed the door even when we used the Emergancy cord. As we found out that wouldn't work because the wheels that came off the track lock the door up.Like I said I don't understand how that could have happen. Its working great now and he ( Anthony Hill ) did a great job and explained everything to me. Maybe he thought the springs ( 1 or both he tighten them a little more. He couldn't figure it out why the bends in the rails got there. It was definitely wasn't my anything. Maybe after a new installation there should be a Free 6 month inspection to check all connections and the rails and wheels.

It was easy to schedule an appointment and the technician was prompt and friendly. He worked right along and replaced 2 garage door openers and springs. However, there were some wires that were not secured sufficiently - one staple holding the cord to the opener fell out a few hours later and almost hit the car. Other wires to the sensors could have been secures better. When I went to use the outside keypad later it was determined that the tech entered the wrong code.

Zack Maki was above and beyond great! Super personality! Knows his job well. He didn't try to talk me into anything and told me all of my options. Never pushed one of them. Answered my questions but w/o any emphasis on his thoughts. As a 67 yr old single woman, living alone, I totally appreciated seeing a pic of him before he arrived. This made me feel safer, esp when there's so many scams out there! Your cs is the best! You sure know how to give great cs and have great employees! Again, Kuddo's to Zack for doing a super job! He installed the opener and fixed things, springs, cables, pulleys, that needed fixing on the garage door. I'm very happy with his work and how he showed me everything before taking my pmt.

Zak came out the afternoon I called (I'm 60 miles from Albany) and inspected my garage door problem, as well as looked at the entire system. The door system was 20 years old and needed some key parts, but he did not recommend an entire new door, only parts that were clearly no longer functioning (motor, cable & bearings). No heavy upsale, showed us what the issues were, made his recommendation and waited for us to make our decision. He was able to replace the parts right then and had our door working within a few hours. He was proficient, friendly and patient. Wonderful service!

I saw the commercial on tv so I called them. My garage doors weren’t working properly so I called them at 10:30 am and they said someone could be here between noon and two. James got here at 12:40 pm. He was able to fix my single garage door. Then he put a new control panel in and a keyless entry in. I was amazed how quickly they could fix it. I scheduled him to come back to put in new springs and replace parts of the garage door hardware.

When I called Precision for our broken door, I was able to talk to an actual very helpful person who was able to schedule the tech to come to our home on our schedule. Zack arrived right on time, and in a few minutes assessed the door and was able to discuss options and pricing. He helped us decide on repair work, and he had everything in his van to complete all of the repairs. The service was great, reasonable cost, and our door is working better than it has in a long time. He thoroughly explained the different options I had and understood I wasn’t able to do all of the fixes, but after careful consideration, I did add onto the original quoted price. I needed a new keypad garage door opener and was unable to program it myself to work. I Googled up garage door companies near me, and Precision came up. This was Saturday, and they were able to get someone there by Sunday at 10:00AM. While he was there, I agreed to a door tune up, which included new rollers, and lubrication.He was well trained and knowledgeable and did the whole thing in short order. I already had the keypad, but he programmed it correctly.$178.00.

I reached out on Monday night through the website. The response was so QUICK! The repair was even QUICKER! They arrived Tuesday morning. Dillon called and said he would arrive in 45 minutes. When he arrived he was able to diagnose in less than 15. He showed me 3 options for repair/replacement. The customer service was exceptional! After i decided which option we would go with, Dillon said he could replace it in the moment. Which he did! It didn’t take him too long either. He was so personable, kind to my crazy children and explained everything so great! 10/10 recommend Precision Garage Doors!

The remote control for my Genie Intel locker garage door opener died. Precision Garage Door's service technician quote a ballpark price of $900 to replace the opener motor (which is in perfect working condition) !! The unit motor needed replacement to match code with the new remote.
