A personable young man came with a professioal approach and explained his approach to the job. Shortly, he came back to me explaining his two estimates:one for a new door and one for repairing the old door. Each estimate was clear and concise so that i was able to come to an immediate decision and the repair was completed in a prompt and efficient manner. The worksite was left clean and without any notice of repair debrie.I was very pleased with all aspects of the job!

Called on Saturday, figuring I would leave a message but somebody answered! I needed to have my garage door checked - it wasn't closing properly, it was making a jittering noise, and it was "heavy" when opened, and unattached from the opener. The person who answered looked at her calendar and said someone could be out on Sunday morning. What a surprise! I said yes. The next day, Zach Maki called me to say he was on the way, and would be there within 20 minutes. He was, and greeted me cheerily. We went over my concerns and then Zach performed an inspection. He found several things wrong with the door hardware. He said we could replace some or all of the failing items. I chose to replace. he looked everything up on his tablet, computed a price and showed me the detailed items. 40 minutes later, the work was completed and we went over things. I found that the door, when unattached from the drive, was still heavy as the door got more than half way closed. He made adjustments on the springs and abrakadabra...it was fixed and balanced. The garage door hadn't been that quiet since I first put the door in. Great work!

The tech came the afternoon of the day our door broke (Saturday 7/5). Job done within an hour. He certainly knew his job. Cost more than expected but we had a car stuck in the garage due to a broken spring.

I called Precision 3 days after moving into my new house when the spring gave out on my old solid wood garage door. They came out same day and seen what they could do. He didn’t have a spring in stock that was heavy enough to support the door, they tried getting one and for the cost I decided to let them give me a quote on a whole new door, hardware, rails etc. They came back with 3 varying prices and I was able to modify one to include an insulted door for only a few dollars more. Very satisfied with their installation and the door. I’ve had them come back every year now for a door service with lube and tightening bolts and checking sensors and opener. Always professional attitudes and knowledgable techs. Will keep using their services until I have a reason not to.

However, I think the price was steep, for the time he was there and the material used. On top of that I got an estimate for a new door that also was way higher than what I would consider normal.

He was very passionate about the job and answered every question I had. He was very knowledgeable and also down-to-earth. He started right away and finished his work in ample time. He did a great job overall. I would have given 5 stars, but felt prices were high-end. Other than that, great service.

All I had was a service call where they looked at the door. The quoted price to repair was outrageous. I would have been happy to pay the cost of parts and a couple hundred for labor, but they quoted almost a thousand dollars to replace a spring and a couple pullies.

I recently called Precision Garage Door Service to book an appointment. I was told they could send a technician the next day, between 8 - 11 a.m. As promised shortly after 8 am I received a text from Chris who said he was on the way.
